Britney Spears 'Glory' Review

I don't think we were truly ready for this but our Goddess Britney Spears (Godney) has FINALLY released her 9th album, 'Glory'. And let me tell you... GIRL, we all prayed that finally we would be given an album worthy of what Britney used to deliver and our prayers were finally answered. Not only were our prayers answered, but they were surpassed by anything I could have ever imagined. This is what you call DE-LIVE-RY! This perfect mix of 'Blackout' and 'In The Zone' is exactly what we needed to truly give us the comeback we asked for.

This is one album worth buying and it starts with an 'Invitation' into Britney's most sacred Boudoir. This song has a Enya feel to it and almost feels like the perfect lullaby to tempt us to enter into her sexual world.  This song is the perfect song to listen to when you wake up and want to start the day on the right note.

She then awakens our sexual desires with her current single 'Make Me OOO' and invites us to her 'Private Show'. Once the 'Private Show' is over, Britney shows us her sensitive side when shes asking "in her party dress" if her astro man, would come back, if she looked her best, in 'Man on the Moon'.

We take a step off the moon to what I believe is the climax of the album and stays a climax till the very end with 'Just Luv Me'. This song sounds like a beautiful mix of Selena Gomez's 'Kill Em With Kindness" and any Bieber song from his most recent album, 'Purpose'. If there were any song to do a collaboration, it would be this one and it should be with Mr. Bieber himself (Calling it now, this will happen). This is one of my favorite songs which Max Martin said would flip the music scene upside down.

From there we start "bangin' on the walls" with 'Clumsy', a club track that serves us a perfect night out on the town. If that wasn't enough, Britney delivers a Grindr anthem with "Do You Wanna Come Over" which doesn't disappoint AT ALL. From the start "UHUH" to the throwback to "OOPS" this track is made to destroy the club.

Britney then invites us over for "seven minutes in heaven" at her 'Slumber Party'. Who wouldn't want to have a slumber party with Britney? As we stay the night we start to see a bit of Britney's soft side in 'Just Like Me'. She is offering us some true emotion into asking you to just love her for who she is.

"Love Me Down', an instant smash hit from the indisputable Miss Britney Spears, gives us a bit of a Rihanna feel and I LOVE it. This song is MAJOR and reminds us that she is not going anywhere, she IS the Princess of Pop. Britney then reminds us that it is "Hard To Forget Ya", which Britney, it is impossible to forget ya. This catchy song will get caught in your head FOR DAYS!

"What You Need" is vocally, Britney's most impressive showing I have EVER heard. GIRRRRLL!!! This song sounds like it was written for Christina but Britney said I'm in for the challenge and she KILLS it. Not only does she kill it but the song is my top 3 on the album.

From here we move onto her Bonus tracks with 'Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortes)', 'Liar', 'If I'm Dancing', and 'Coupure Electrique'. Each one of these songs is good enough to not be a bonus track and definitely worth checking out. I am a bit sad 'If I'm Dancing' isn't on the album because it has me booty bumping across the room and is so damn good. The album finishes with 'Coupure Electrique' which Britney sings in French which translates to 'Blackout' and what better way to pay tribute?

All in all, this album is one that is going to help Miss Britney officially have her comeback. Not only is she pushing this album for once and doing promos everywhere but her performance this Sunday at the VMAs is supposed to be like no other. Be sure to check it out because if its anything like the album, this will be a moment in herrstory
