So many of my friends keep wondering where they can buy Chanel on e-commerce sites, and I have good news for you! Chanel will officially launch a line with Net-A-Porter.com possibly by the end of 2016. They will be testing their line as soon as next week according to sources.
Chanel still will not have e-commerce on their own site but will go after one of the top selling e-commerce sites out there now. They are going to take their Coco Crush line and put it on the Net-A-Porter website. It will be the first time that Chanel actually has sold something besides beauty products online.
They are using this opportunity to create an online pop-up shop specifically geared towards Coco Crush. They are going to dive into it even further by using 360-degree photography so you can see every inch of the item you are looking to purchase. Do you think this is a good change for them or will it bring their quality level down?
I know they are going to keep a tight hold on this and still maintain the level of excellence and quality as they usually have but will this change the brand completely? At least they are taking their time working out all the kinks and details, so not to have any messy slip ups. It will be interesting to see where this goes... #ChanelEcomm
